This project showcases a complete transformation of a vacant commercial space into Bigbelly Greek Street Food, a modern fast-casual restaurant with a bold brand identity.
The renovation began with a full demolition, followed by structural framing, drywall repair, and all new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems tailored for a commercial kitchen. A full stainless-steel cookline was installed, complete with a commercial hood, ductwork, makeup air, and fire suppression.
The front-of-house design features a signature textured vertical tile wall, accented by custom LED strip lightingintegrated into the ceiling for a clean, linear visual effect. Overhead, dark wood beams add depth and warmth, creating a dynamic contrast against the restaurant’s bright modern finishes.
A standout element is the custom blue LED neon mascot sign, paired with oversized channel-letter branding that reads “BIG FLAVOURS. BIG PORTIONS. BIGBELLY.” – lit from within for maximum visibility. The POS and service counter is built with clean, modern lines and topped with a durable quartz surface.
The washroom was fully remodeled with large-format commercial tiles, modern fixtures, and a minimal black-and-white palette.
Outside, the storefront received a full facelift: brand-new aluminum signage, bold green façade panels, and upgraded window graphics that give the restaurant a strong street presence.
Overall, this build-out combines modern lighting, strong branding, durable materials, and precise craftsmanship to deliver a polished and inviting restaurant environment.
