This project transformed a worn and uneven backyard with deteriorating artificial turf into a beautifully structured outdoor living space designed for both family use and long-term durability.
The renovation began by removing the existing turf and leveling the site to prepare for new construction. A custom-designed pressure-treated deck was built from the ground up, incorporating natural trees directly into the design. The centerpiece of the space is an elevated play structure built around mature trees, featuring a secure railing system, climbing net, and safe access points for children.
To enhance nighttime usability and create an inviting atmosphere, warm LED strip lighting was installed along the entire perimeter fence—providing ambient glow without visible fixtures.
The lower patio area was upgraded with modern, large-format interlocking stone pavers installed with proper compaction and drainage slope, delivering a clean, maintenance-friendly surface ideal for seating or outdoor dining.
Natural wood fencing completes the enclosure, offering privacy and a warm, cohesive aesthetic throughout the yard.
