This project transformed a busy city-side roadway into a fully engineered outdoor dining patio designed for high-volume restaurant service. The build began with ground preparation and a complete structural framing system using pressure-treated beams and joists, all secured with galvanized hardware for long-term durability.
Once the foundation was set, we installed decking boards throughout the patio surface and added a continuous LED lighting system recessed into the walkway. These low-profile lights enhance nighttime visibility and create an elevated, welcoming dining atmosphere.
The perimeter walls were constructed with a combination of lattice panels, horizontal wood cladding, and privacy boards to maintain airflow while providing a comfortable enclosure for guests. Vertical support posts were added for future shade structures, signage, and lighting.
Custom bench seating and structural side rails were integrated directly into the frame, offering both practicality and added stability. The final space is warm, inviting, and built to withstand heavy daily use.
This patio now serves as an extension of the restaurant—expanding seating capacity, enhancing outdoor dining experiences, and contributing to the vibrant street environment. Built to code, designed for comfort, and finished with refined lighting and carpentry, this urban patio project elevates both the restaurant and the surrounding streetscape.
